This was taken in 1978. Ice fishing on Audrey Lake. Three feet of ice meant lots of drilling! The boys are now 42 and 40, and will probably shoot me if they see this. :-}
In-sights into moving from an Acreage back to Town, plus a few things I find of interest. Two things that horses are scared about: 1. Things that move 2. Things that don't move

Looks like they were dressed warmly! Three feet of ice is pretty thick! At least you didn't have to worry about falling through!
ReplyDeleteSO cute!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet picture, Ian! I've never quite understood ice fishing, but I know that people can be very passionate about it! Have a good one!
ReplyDeleteAwwwww.....lovely photo, Ian. :)
ReplyDeleteI'll bet they had a ball. I never got to ice fish when we lived in Canada, but my dad did. Nice keepsake!
ReplyDeleteIts lovely to look back on our children's lives and know we have done something right when we see them fulfilling their own special place in this world. This is a lovely memory for you and I am sure if your sons have their own children now, that they will realise this.. Time travels quicker than we realise.. and nostalgia warms our hearts. Blessings sent your way today Mate.
