Life On and Off an Acreage

In-sights into moving from an Acreage back to Town, plus a few things I find of interest.

Two things that horses are scared about:

1. Things that move
2. Things that don't move

Hints of Spring

I had 16 of these butterflies in the garage today trying to get out the window. I caught them all and released them to fly off. They must have hibernated in the garage over the winter.

The snow pack is down to 6 to 8 inches.
All the crud from over the winter is poking through. One more day like today, and the snow should be gone.
Little creeks are flowing off the fields like crazy.

Some cow parsley is even poking through. It's a good thing that the horses are banished from the field until it dries up or it would not get to grow much.
Our normally dry creek bed was really going.
The bad part is that the weatherman is forecasting snow for Monday. If he doesn't get the weather right pretty soon, I am going for impeachment!
