Life On and Off an Acreage

In-sights into moving from an Acreage back to Town, plus a few things I find of interest.

Two things that horses are scared about:

1. Things that move
2. Things that don't move

Another Quiet day

I had five of these dudes on the lilac bush today

Almost the perfect shot, but alas, I missed the focus slightly.
Buttercups are pretty in moderation, but does anybody know how to get rid of a field full of them? The horses won't eat them and they are starting to choke out the grass.
The north facing lilac was full of activity. Lots of hummingbird moths and tiger swallowtails.
I've got to go and batten down the hatches. It feels like a big storm is brewing.

  3. Love the Hummingbird Moths and any of the butterflies., especially on those delicate Buttercups. I don't have a clue as to how to get rid of them other than maybe Weed-Be-Gone but it would take a lot to rid a field of them. At least it leaves the grass for the horses.
