A while back, I thought that I would get smart and record the old barns in the area. Alas, there don't appear to be that many left! The old style barn appears to be a thing of the past, replaced by pole barns with vinyl or metal siding.
The hay barn is gone. Replaced by stacked bales under roofs with open sides, or with plastic wrapped round bales, left out in the open.
Before you jump all over me, I realize that this is not a barn, but somebody's old house. I included it due to a feeling of being sorry for it. All three buildings would have a great story to tell, but alas, nothing was written down.

That first picture is my favorite! It's a beautiful old barn. I've never seen a yellow barn like the second pic, and that last one looks like it needs a little love! Thanks for sharing these pics!
