This is the first time that I have seen European Starlings at the feeder. Actually, it is the first time that I have seen one period. I had to look them up!
They actually are a very pretty bird, but I figured they would be long gone south.

That first shot is a beauty! We have a few of them around here too. I like their speckles - they're really pretty when the sunshine hits them.

ReplyDeleteIan, they can live in the cold, believe me. :-) I had about 8000 of them the last two years eating me out of house and home.
