Life On and Off an Acreage

In-sights into moving from an Acreage back to Town, plus a few things I find of interest.

Two things that horses are scared about:

1. Things that move
2. Things that don't move

A Sad Day!

It was a sad morning as we took Boots down to the Vet one last time. He has been with us, as part of the family for 10 1/2 years. He got his name from our Grand Daughter  at 3 years old, when he dragged one of our son's boots across the kitchen floor at a time when we were trying to figure out a name.

What Boots liked best in life.. looking after the horses, and of course, accompanying us on horse back rides and getting overall skritches from anybody that would accommodate.
Rest in peace Boots!

  1. So sorry for the loss Ian. Loosing a dog is such a hard hard hit , they don't call them man's best friend for nothing . Dogs fast become an intricate part of the family and a great buddy thats always there for you. I know you've had great memories with him.

I am sure Brooklyn misses Boots.
Grieving and missing your best friend is a sad feeling. I lost many furry friends, and I miss them all...
