Life On and Off an Acreage

In-sights into moving from an Acreage back to Town, plus a few things I find of interest.

Two things that horses are scared about:

1. Things that move
2. Things that don't move

Still Around~

When we were coming back from Church today, I noticed a cow moose and a calf laying down at our driveway entrance. These were different from the one yesterday. Unfortunately, they were not quite as cooperative. My sneak didn't turn out too well, and they were up, but not moving off .

 Only another moose could love a face like this!
Did you know that a moose is actually a horse? But one designed by an engineer? :-}}

  1. pretty amazing sight out your door and up your drive. I hope your move will include these girls...or their family.

  2. I think that is a pretty neat sight. Not what I would see around here. Glad you both are out and about.

  4. Congrats on the upcoming move. Moose are cool, but I'm glad they aren't around my Tennessee digs... they scare me!

  5. The first time I saw a real moose I was staggered by how big it was! You really do live in a magical place. My surprise so far this year was a couple of ringnecked pheasants...of course I didn't have a camera or phone on me.
