Life On and Off an Acreage

In-sights into moving from an Acreage back to Town, plus a few things I find of interest.

Two things that horses are scared about:

1. Things that move
2. Things that don't move

It's a Good day!

This morning, Elaine and I were informed that we have sold a house, and bought a house! All that is left now is the paperwork at the lawyers and a LONG wait until December 6 when we can take possession. In anticipation, a whole bunch of ladies from the Church came over and packed up the kitchen. The help was very much appreciated!

As if to help celebrate, this gal showed up in the pasture. I am going to miss stepping out the back door and seeing these magnificent animals.

  6. HI Ian, Wow! So much has taken place in your lives since I've last checked any blogs. I haven't done anything with my blog for quite some time and I lost touch with the goings on in your own. I'm saddened to hear you'll be moving and that your horses are sold. But I understand life has twists and turns and we must follow it's path on our journey. I hope your wife continues to gain her strength daily. It's nice to have a church family that pulls together to help. I hope you're very happy in your new place. Will you be in the country still? Did you buy a condo for easy upkeep? I look forward to seeing your new venture. Take care. I hope you're back pain is tolerable too. Bernadine
