All the packing is done that can be done before the move away from the Acreage. I took the opportunity to take the dogs for a walk and got a bonus.
There was so much sniffing going on, Boots may have strained his nose. :-}
Brooklyn decided to stay mostly on the road
This was the bonus. A cow and a calf moose got up and crossed the road.
I tried to circle them to get some closer pictures, but Boots saw them.
The temperature got up to +7C (45F) which made it pretty sloppy walking. A freezing rain storm came through in the night and made the roads treacherous. Ah, life in Alberta! If you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes.
In-sights into moving from an Acreage back to Town, plus a few things I find of interest. Two things that horses are scared about: 1. Things that move 2. Things that don't move

Great photos! Sounds like Montana weather. lol
ReplyDeleteexcept for the sloppy, it sounded good.
ReplyDeleteHi Ian,
ReplyDeleteIt breaks my heart to know that you and your wife are leaving your piece of heaven on earth...
I have to stop by your site, and let you know that I keep praying that all will go well with you, your dear wife, your family, lovely pets and beloved ones.
Are you going to take your sweet lovely dogs, Brooklyn and Boots to your new place, Ian? I hope so...
Please, come back to my poetry corner as a follower. I have missed you since you left my site. Please, come back to my sites, Ian!
I wish you, your dear family and beloved pets all the best in your new place. I pray that you keep on posting your updates. Your stories are amazing stories of survival. Well, I must admit that I admire you, Ian, because you are a special Christian who knows how to survive in all life roads.
I am sure I would have already died under severe cold weather conditions, due to my asthma and other chronic health issues.
God may always keep you safe with your loved ones anywhere you may go, Ian. Please, remain in touch.
God may bless you all.
Blessings and Prayers,
Poet Starry.
My Email remains the same, just in case you wish to send me a message.
Leaving?? Have I missed out on something while doing my Bible College?? Where are you going? I hope your next place has some land. It dosen't need to be much but as long as you are not sitting on the people next door. May God bless you both and I will be back to see how yu are faring.
ReplyDeleteStrained his nose? :) I got a chuckle out of that. I still find it hard to believe that winter is coming...already there for you, so it seems!
