Life On and Off an Acreage

In-sights into moving from an Acreage back to Town, plus a few things I find of interest.

Two things that horses are scared about:

1. Things that move

Green Christmas?

NOT

At 0800 early, this was what greeted me on my way out for coffee. About 25 cm (9.8 inches) of this white stuff fell over night. 2 1/2 hours later, the snow blower had the driveway plowed out. However, the County had not been around yet, so it was coffee at home today.

The first person to comment on how pretty it is, may get 12 lashes with a wet noodle!

  3. Oh, well, I'll jump in. I think it's VERY pretty - but then comes the shoveling.

  4. I grew up in North Dakota and have fond memories of snow sports/activities. However, as an adult I would not appreciate all of that!

  5. It's like we live on different planets. Do you ever consider wintering in Texas with your son? (He's in TX, right?)

  6. Oh isn't it pret- LOL. I can say things like that because I'm not shoveling this year. I'm enjoying not being able to do it too LOL. That's a little more snow than needed all at one time! Someone must have messed up the delivery order!
