High quality salt available.
This is a new buck on the block. Word gets around.
they are always on the look out.
However, the dogs are friendly.
In-sights into moving from an Acreage back to Town, plus a few things I find of interest. Two things that horses are scared about: 1. Things that move 2. Things that don't move
Those sure are some good looking bucks. The deer down here are so overpopulated that we seldom see any that size.
ReplyDeleteIan, please PLEASE tell me you are only going to "shoot" them with your camera! I knew someone who drew them in with salt/feed... and then shot away at them!
ReplyDeleteLove the buck's new budding antlers! I bet they enjoy that salt!
ReplyDeleteNice looking bucks ... they are sticking pretty much in the woods here.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to see your deer photos. We have so few deer around the last couple years, what with the "Blue Tongue" disease that hit them, and the hard winter a couple years ago.
ReplyDeleteNice looking guys! I'd spread the word too! We were late putting our spring salt block out (we do fall & spring usually) and the deer actually dug a hole in the ground trying to get the leftovers! Boy do they ever love that salt.
ReplyDeletegorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteNow I want to put up a salt lick too. Except at the front of the property, far away from the garden. These are beautiful bucks.
ReplyDeleteAwesome shots! I'd love to just sit and watch them come by.
