What creature up and died in this photo?
The peonies are coming out, finally.
The roses are starting to bloom again.
The septic field was slightly overgrown with weeds.
The Grim Reaper (me) with my scythe made short work of cleaning out the mess.
Baby Yellow Bellied Sapsuckers are starting to show up. I never did find their nest this year.
And of course, the drab, boring, tent caterpillars have disappeared.
Only to come back as the dreaded moth. There will likely be a gadzillion of them this year.
They appear to be slightly more intelligent than wheat!
Do glad nothing had died in that first photo! lol. Your Peonies are such a great color. Love the Rose too.
ReplyDeleteyikes, boots! :)
ReplyDeletelove the moth - so cute and furry!
Ian, we've got a gajillion small white moths right now - it's like nothing I've ever seen. Snow at night beneath the yard lights! They're actually quite pretty but I wonder what they are... or were...
ReplyDeleteIan are those like long stem roses? They are soooo pretty and looks big.I;m sure Boots is a heck of a lot cooler without all that fur.
ReplyDeleteNo doubt, Boots feels so much better without the extra coat. Your place is looking lovely. It's looking pretty lush.
