Life On and Off an Acreage

In-sights into moving from an Acreage back to Town, plus a few things I find of interest.

Two things that horses are scared about:

1. Things that move
2. Things that don't move

Woody is Back

Every year this guy shows up and starts beating his head against a tree or fence post. He's still a little skittish, but I got a few shots.

If it wasn't for the noise, he would be hard to see.
Just a little artistic effort here. I was trying to sneak closer. it didn't work!

  4. We have both downy and hairy woodpeckers, and flickers. The flickers are our noisiest birds.
