Another sunny day at the freezing point. Tucker was not laughing so hard today when I caught her. She did enjoy the outing, but is still a little lame. Hopefully it is residual from the abscess from the spring and not arthritis. She is after all, almost 25.
I include an older picture taken when I had company on the ride. It is much more fun riding with others. this is the field in back of us.

Hi Ian, these are just beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing.
ReplyDeleteIan, I read the Fern Valley posts... what good advice. We have not had ponies here for a while, but the feed situation here is getting crazy, and though we were going to get two this coming week... I am having second thoughts now. At 9.00 a bale of hay (square bale) with two mouths to feed... we may have to wait until spring. Good reminders on how to be the calm, safe boss, though... and I'm glad I read them!
ReplyDeleteI feel for the poor girl. Hope she will heal during the winter season and can run around again in spring time.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots Ian. I love the perspective above the horse ears and overlooking your view.
I wished I could have been there with you guys.
Hugs Dagmar and have a happy sunday.
