Life On and Off an Acreage

In-sights into moving from an Acreage back to Town, plus a few things I find of interest.

Two things that horses are scared about:

1. Things that move
2. Things that don't move

Pesky Varmint!

I almost got the shot that I wanted. It appears there is a slight (read 4 foot) delay in pushing the button and getting the picture. As long as the bread crusts hold out, I will keep on trying! Maybe I will have to stuff one in the position I want in order to get some critter co-operation.

It's much easier when they just sit and pose! I have to wait for the sun to come out to brighten things up, as it's been snowing for the last two days.
It could be much worse though, and I feel for the folks on the East Coast!

  2. So, those are magpies? Don't recall seeing one before.

I think I'd rather have that snow than what we're expecting tomorrow and Tuesday!!

  3. So pretty! We don't get magpies on the ranch, although we see them in town.

  6. As for the weather, I guess we all get our turn at some sort of bad, scary weather or another. I've been watching their area and hoping they get through it the best they can. It looks scary.

As for your pictures, you are surrounded by landscape that is worthy of that camera snapping every chance it gets so we can enjoy those pictures! So beautiful!
