Life On and Off an Acreage

In-sights into moving from an Acreage back to Town, plus a few things I find of interest.

Two things that horses are scared about:

1. Things that move
2. Things that don't move

Thoughtless Thursday

This is the second hummingbird moth that we've seen this year. It is very difficult to get a wing stoppage like I lucked into last year.

 Some going to seed

Some still blooming. I just found out that busy bees do not like being photographed. No stings, but I was warned.

  3. We get hummingbird moths here, too, but the one in your photo is quite pretty. I love to hear the bees buzzing, just not too close to my face : )

  4. Haven't seen any of them here yet but a hummingbird does go whizzing by occasionally.

  7. I've never seen a hummingbird moth except in pictures, but our farm caretaker saw one a couple of years ago in the summer and got pictures, they are such neat critters! Love the pictures.

  10. never heard of a hummingbird moth....love hummingbirds (we have lots of them) but have an irrational phobia of moths (lots of those here too), so not to sure how I would feel about those!
