Life On and Off an Acreage

In-sights into moving from an Acreage back to Town, plus a few things I find of interest.

Two things that horses are scared about:

1. Things that move
2. Things that don't move

Winter, Blecht!!

This is what we woke up to this morning! What doesn't show is the howling wind and blowing snow.

The view from the window made me want to head back to bed, but alas, there was a work party at the Men's shelter so I had to go out. 10 to 20 cm of snow forecast!
Bring on spring!

  2. I feel your pain! The north wind is blowing here...but thankfully it's not yet cold enough for snow. But it's too cold for me!!

  4. Ughhh, I can stand most weather, extreme hot or cold, but I don't like winds of any sort! I'm wondering if we're going to have another heavy winter this year, it sort of looks like it. Just bought my first 50 pound bucket of de-icer...

  13. Wishing you and your family a blessed Thanksgiving Day. By all the snow in the photographs....one might think it was already Christmas. God bless, Lloyd
