Life On and Off an Acreage

In-sights into moving from an Acreage back to Town, plus a few things I find of interest.

Two things that horses are scared about:

1. Things that move
2. Things that don't move

She's Back!

She disappeared for a while, but showed up today. Hopefully she will bring her spotted fawn to the salt lick soon. She has obviously given birth in the last week. Her baby won't be too far away. I didn't look for it as it's hard to sneak around with a couple of dogs. She will present the fawn in due course.
I blew it. I figured I would have time to take this and get a shot of her going over the fence. No such luck! She went over pretty fast!

  3. She's a beauty! I startled a doe and 2 fawns in the spring, and of course I had no camera. (But if I had it along, of course I wouldn't have seen them. It never fails.)

  5. What wonderful photos. Makes a person want to move out in the wilderness and get away from the crowds. Blessings to you and your family. Lloyd
