Life On and Off an Acreage

In-sights into moving from an Acreage back to Town, plus a few things I find of interest.

Two things that horses are scared about:

1. Things that move
2. Things that don't move

Relaxing Thursday

after buying this rust bucket about 3 years (or more) ago, I finally finished the wiring and took it for a test drive today. It tows really well. Now, all we need is an older horse, about 2 on the panic scale (out of 10) suitable for elderly people and grand kids to ride. We are going to Morinville tomorrow evening to look at one, and over to Edson next Wednesday. There are several other possibilities also.
After cutting the grass for several hours (not my grass), I decided to take the afternoon off and give Tucker a work out. She was exceptionally well behaved and did not protest at all. After an hour and a half, she was happy to be home. Me too!
The day was 22C and sunny with no wind. It was hot, but enjoyable. Friday, I plan on giving Biz her turn at trail riding.
