Life On and Off an Acreage

In-sights into moving from an Acreage back to Town, plus a few things I find of interest.

Two things that horses are scared about:

1. Things that move
2. Things that don't move

  2. I can't believe horses are so tough. Are there any wild mustangs in your area?

  3. I love frost and the shapes that can be formed. I especially love it when horses whiskers, muzzle, eyes and ears are tipped with the little ice crystals.
    Great pics!!

  6. Beautiful!!

Hello Ian, All is well with us here in Oz. I guess everyone took heed after the effects of the recent floods. Although we were not expecting the brunt of the cyclone where I live, we were led to believe we could get side effects. As you know living in a hurrican area, it is scary. I was driving home from a friends once when my little car was hit by torrential rain. The road resembled an ocean and I was sure I'd be a goner. Thank you for your concern and prayers. CM

  8. I always find frost on the animals unnerving, even though I know it doesn't hurt them.

  10. Hello Ian,
Beautiful horses you have got, Ian!!
    God bless them!!
You are telling us that one of them is 30 years old. Woooowwww!! Take great care of him, Ian. Maybe, you would need a good Veterinarian to check on his health, since he is growing older. We all need good Doctors when we grow older. I know I need my health to be checked often, for I am an asthma and allergy sufferer.
Thank you for sharing your pictures with us, Ian!! I enjoy reading your post. I follow your blog. God bless you, and all those you love!!
    Take care, Ian.
All the Best for All of You,
    Starry.
