Life On and Off an Acreage

In-sights into moving from an Acreage back to Town, plus a few things I find of interest.

Two things that horses are scared about:

1. Things that move
2. Things that don't move

Boom enjoying the heat of the sun., butt to the wind!
Tuckers Fire Star (aka Tucker) wondering when spring is coming.
Boots guard dog on duty, NOT. He's out of the wind and in a sunny spot. Life is good. Even last night he would not stay inside. He just comes in, eats and wants back out again. Go figure!
It's nice an toasty inside, Now, go away, I want to lay an egg!

  9. Found your blog because of a comment you left over at BrownEyedCowgirls... I'm going to have to stop by and look around more when I have some free time.
Your comment was about Biz, who you wanted to call Sausage. That gave me a giggle and reminded me of a guy that used to come on trail rides with an awesome little horse he called Canner, because that's where the horse was headed when he got him.
He also had a horse called Seymour, because he was so tall that when you were mounted on him you could See More lol

  10. I was raised on a farm so these photos bring back old memories. I love looking at pictures with the snow, but sure wouldn't like to be working in it. God bless, Lloyd

  11. Good Morning, Ian!!
I am happy to see your dog, Boots back again.
I love Boots,Brooklyn and your lovely horses!!
The picture of Boots reminds me of a similar photo in a previous post you composed.
It'll be very nice of you to post new pictures of your dogs. Lovely photos you have shared, Ian. Thank you for sharing your life with your readers and with the world out there!!
The weather looks a little warmer by now. Well, Spring is soon coming up anyway. Thanks God!!
Your blog is very interesting, and good food for thoughts. It is always great to know new things with new life lessons. I would love to live in a country home with acres around me with a beautiful weather. Unfortunately, I have to live in a big city, and I don't like it. I rather prefer peaceful and quiet settings in a rural area. I love horses. I used to ride horses in my childhood and in my youth years.
I miss those days back in time!!
God bless you, Ian, and those you love!!
Please, post new more pictures of Boots, Brooklyn and your wonderful horses.
    I shall return...
    In God's Garden,
    Starry Dawn.
