Life On and Off an Acreage

In-sights into moving from an Acreage back to Town, plus a few things I find of interest.

Two things that horses are scared about:

1. Things that move
2. Things that don't move

Just a Few Critters

Was that a moose over there? Should we run now, or keep on eating? Tucker's Fire Star (aka Tucker) in the foreground was enjoying a late fall snack when up went the head and ears! Biz popped her head up too, but kept an eye on Tucker. If she ran, so would Biz.

They are both enjoying new halters as the old ones wore out after 5 years.

As you can see, the snow melted and we are now sitting in a rain storm. Can you imagine rain in mid November in this part of the country?

Here is brooklynn playing with her buddy Max, also known as Mad Max. They kept at it most of the day, then totally crashed.

Brooklynn and Boom both liked a slow walk after all the excitement

  1. Where's the snow? It looks like Southern California around your neck of the woods. I'll bet Al Gore has something to do with the warm weather in your area? :-)

  2. How cute (all the critters)! Is Biz a Morgan? Sure looks nice and stout.

  3. Beautiful photos and great commentary! You would think you had nothing to do but sit around on that acreage and make up good captions for great photos!

OG might be on to something, if you smell a varmit up there, and the horses gallop away and the dogs starts whimpering and tucks their tails between their legs - look out! Al Gore is spreading glofaux warming on your spread, oops sorry acreage!
