I think that a lot of time we spend too much effort on the "big" things in our lives, and miss the small ones.
All sorts of things are starting to come out of limbo

In-sights into moving from an Acreage back to Town, plus a few things I find of interest. Two things that horses are scared about: 1. Things that move 2. Things that don't move
You are so right. I wonder how much joy we would experience if we took time for the little thing. Great pics. Don't know that white flower, either.
ReplyDeleteAmen!
ReplyDeleteI never noticed the neighborhood I've lived in for the past 35 years until I retired and started walking around it. It's amazing how much we miss in our fast pace of life. I think we all need to slow down and smell the "dandelions". Unless there's a bee on it!
Beautiful photography !!! I love taking the time to look at nature around me....absorb it and thank God for it....He's so amazing. !!!
ReplyDeleteHi Ian - finally getting around to my e-friends, it has been a long planting time. Love your ode to dandelions. I think your little white one is a viola. I cut the tops off the root and dry them dirty, when dry I rub off the dirt. I crush them to be added to teas and coffee. My husband would not believe what I sneak into our diet. I found a good link about dandelions for you:
