Life On and Off an Acreage

In-sights into moving from an Acreage back to Town, plus a few things I find of interest.

Two things that horses are scared about:

1. Things that move
2. Things that don't move

I Don't believe It!

On May 21 this is what we woke up to! And there is another 5 to 10 cm forecast! That is 2 to 4 inches for those of you that are not bilingual (yet).

Fortunately, nothing is poking up in the garden , although all the orchard is in the process of flowering out.

I am still waiting for those of you in the deep south that may want to do a 6 month residential swap!

I guess this will be the day that I clean out the garage, or go back to bed!

Whatever happened to global warming? It seems that we could use a little of it up here!

My rant for the day!

I hope your day is starting out better than this!

Oh yeah, today is the start of the Canadian long weekend. I guess it could be worse. I could be opening up the door on a tent!

  1. We woke up to pouring, driving rain. (I am not sure how the Dept of Lic actually licensed the rain0 nevertheless it was cold driving rain.

My wife's Iris's are beaten to death! Today is the men's retreat with my former church in Vancouver (WA) the Living Water Community Church. We are going up I-84 into the Columbia Gorge tonight and tomorrow - hope we are not flooded out.

What is a "Canadian long weekend?"
