Life On and Off an Acreage

In-sights into moving from an Acreage back to Town, plus a few things I find of interest.

Two things that horses are scared about:

1. Things that move
2. Things that don't move

A Few Pics of the Shuswap Trip

A walk with the crew on the Adam's River. Unseen in the picture is the massive black cloud coming down the valley. Trip called short due to rain!

A lunch spot (ice cream) at  >>>> You read the sign, I can't spell it let alone spell it!

As school is starting soon, here is a little history lesson. It is hard to believe men punched a railroad line through that area!

Another picture at >>>>>. I still can't spell it!

Andrew's new dog, Shadow, a Black Faced Cur, bred and developed as a breed in Texas.

Back Again

Well we are back home again after a week plus vacation. We travelled out to the Shuswap in British Columbia to visit our oldest son and family, then crossed into the Parks at Lake Louise and up the parkway to Saskatchewan River Crossing then over to Red Deer to visit our youngest son and his family. All in all, a good trip covering about 2100 km.

The following are a few picture of our happy dogs after our return. Happy to be out of the Kennels! More on the trip later.
