Life On and Off an Acreage

In-sights into moving from an Acreage back to Town, plus a few things I find of interest.

Two things that horses are scared about:

1. Things that move
2. Things that don't move

Birds I Don't See in Northern Alberta

The Houston/Galveston has a whole bunch of birds that I have not seen before I think this first and second ones areWhite Ibis

This I believe is a Snowy Egret

Of course I recognize these from Texwis's Blog.     Whistler Ducks

I have no idea what this is. My bird books are limited.

This group is easy. Roseated Spoon Bills, Brown Pelican ( I prefer our White) and a Cormorant on a perch.

 Maybe a Laughing Gull?

White Winged Dove (Sounds like one of our owls)

Black Vultures

 Little Blue Heron?
Fun and games in Houston. If anybody recognizes these birds, and I have it wrong, please let me know the correct identification.
