Life On and Off an Acreage

In-sights into moving from an Acreage back to Town, plus a few things I find of interest.

Two things that horses are scared about:

1. Things that move
2. Things that don't move

Old enough to be eccentric, but not rich enough

Busy Summer!

First was our trip to  Toronto (Waterloo) to see our oldest grand daughter graduate.

Well done! We are very proud of her!

Then there was some sight seeing at Niagara Falls
And then off to St. Ives on the Shuswap Lake in British Columbia. This is a picture of Elaine with  our Grandson. one of three and the blanket that she croqueted for him

Similarly, here is another Grand Daughter with an other crocheted blanket. Elaine was very busy!

Then we come to our other Grand daughter, part of the Under 15 Girls Canadian National Rugby Champions! This required basically a week in Calgary

So from Whitecourt to Toronto, to Shuswap, to Calgary in one summer. I am travelled out!

Too Much Excitement!

oElaine and I had the opportunity to travel down to Calgary and watch 4 days of the Canadian National Under 15 women's Rugby Championships. The Ladies did well, earning the Bronze Medal. All the Alberta teams did well! Rugby appears to be catching on in Canada. This was played at the Calgary Rugby Union Fields in Calgary

A very proud young lady! Just don't stand in front of her if she's heading for the goal line!
A bunch of photos were posted previously so I won't duplicate them

Needless to say, Mom and Dad plus us Grandparents are pretty proud of her!
