It's been a busy week with a trip and 4 day stay with our son and his family in Red Deer. It was good to get out of Dodge for a change. The roads were great and the travel went well. We had the opportunity to watch our granddaughter play in two basket ball games. The went through the semi finals with a close score and then the Alberta Provincial Finals where they lost. However, they played well and got silver medals. Well done!
The smile says it all!
We also took Mad Max for a long walk along part of the cross Canada Trail. We came across the Cronquist House which I found rather amazing. I can't imagine how they lifted this up and floated it across the Red deer River and established it in its present location. A major job!
We also got to watch our grandson in his school play! This was a major event 2 1/2 hours long including 50 high school students. The musical was called "Big" and was extremely well done. AJ had 5 parts in the play.
At 15 years old, he is a big boy young man with lots of talent. He dwarfs his Nan at 5 foot 2.
He also dwarfs his Mom who is 5 foot six. Size 15 shoes and still growing!
It was a great week!
What a wonderful visit!!! I know every one was delighted y'all came to cheer them on.
ReplyDeleteThe house move would have been an amazing action to witness. So glad they saved it.
