Bohemian Wax Wing Day

Out and about today, I came across a big flock of Bohemian Wax Wings. It was windy and cold (-11C or+12F) and these little guys were fluffed up.





 Some of them were huddled up.


 Others were hanging out in the tree tops.

More snow is forecast today. Hope they are wrong!

    Absolutely fantastic.

    I wish I knew enough about photography to know whether my camera is messed up or I just need more patience. The birds were very busy in the rain yesterday. I had little luck with good pictures.

    Wow, that's a lot of them! Very handsome in a group. We get one or two on occasion, which is always a treat.
