Life On and Off an Acreage

In-sights into moving from an Acreage back to Town, plus a few things I find of interest.

Two things that horses are scared about:

1. Things that move
2. Things that don't move

Another Walk With the Dogs

Can you see the deer? Pretty tough to do  in this tangle

If I move over a little bit, it's a little easier. The dogs never saw her, and she was frozen with no movement, not even an ear twitch. You can tell by the ears that she is a Mule Deer

A little bit farther over and you can see the white rump and short, black tipped tail.

This was a good sized doe and looking very healthy.

I just had to show a Blue Jay on the grass.

  1. Didn't know that's what a mule deer was, makes sense though because in the first picture all I saw were the ears. We have sooooo many deer around right now, in the 15 minutes it takes to drive to town you almost always see one, more often close to 10. Lots of twin babies too, by you also?

  2. Great shots.

What is the tree with white bark?
