More Critters that have Hatched Out

These guys hatched out of the front hedge, and have worked their way around to the apple trees. Fortunately they escaped the dogs and neighbours cat.

 He  Looks full grown, but is still a little in the "Dumb" category.

 He is very watchful, but not inclined to fly. It looks like Mom and Pop have abandoned him


 His hiding attempts leave something to be desired.


 These guys have also hatched out by the hundreds! Hopefully the sparrows will get it under control!

 Not very pretty up close.

 We need more birds, fast!

    Cute little bird...I really hope he makes it! That's a great close up of the grasshopper, too. Dare I say he's pretty ugly?!

    So odd.. I have only seen a few small grasshoppers here in Kansas... yours is huge!
