Life On and Off an Acreage

In-sights into moving from an Acreage back to Town, plus a few things I find of interest.

Two things that horses are scared about:

1. Things that move
2. Things that don't move

Old enough to be eccentric, but not rich enough

On another hot, hot day we went to Rotary Park to give the dogs some exercise before the afternoon heat storm hit. Actually, it looks like ALL of Alberta is on a Tornado watch due to conditions.

I was really surprised how much the baby geese have grown!
Our little town pond hatched out quite a few this year.
Nothing to report on the Osprey nest. I can't tell if she is sitting on eggs, or keeping chicks cool.

It appears that Daphne is joining Brooklyn as a water dog. She loves it! Some dogs retrieve sticks. These two fetch logs.
It is going to take Daphne a long time to dry off.

  1. You, sir, are an amazing photographer! That nest is super and rare here.

We are under a tornado warning now. As long as it brings rain and cools down some...

  2. We are also having storms and bad weather at the moment. Your dogs will be taking some time to dry off!
