These two have been coming to the feeder in the early mornings for the last couple of days.
The female is much more cheerful looking and not quite as watchful.
I would have thought that they would be nesting by now, but I guess not
Hopefully they will keep coming back for the summer.

ReplyDeleteWhat a treat - those down turned beaks do make them look a bit grumpy. Maybe they've already hatched out their clutch and are pair feeding! Hard to say.
