Life On and Off an Acreage

In-sights into moving from an Acreage back to Town, plus a few things I find of interest.

Two things that horses are scared about:

1. Things that move
2. Things that don't move

Sunday Updates

Three days ago, spring was well upon us. Some of the local "wildlife" have shown up out testing the ice. The snow was pretty much gone.

 The local dog park had a little bit left, just enough to keep things from being muddy.
 The local ( like in crazy) dog was enjoying the sunshine and chasing her Kong.
 She will retrieve right to hand which is a lot easier  on her owner.
 The heat started to get her down, and she wore out pretty fast.
 Rotary park is identifiable again, although there is no one skating due to thin ice.
 These European Grackles have re-appeared. I haven't seen them for a few months.

 They are quite sociable and don't mind piling on.

Incoming. Make room!
 Over the last few days, we have received 20 cm of snow, which changes the scenery :-{

    Gosh, more snow - we've had zip! Like since November. Going to be a dry firey summer here. The grackles look to be having quite the buffet!
