Life On and Off an Acreage

In-sights into moving from an Acreage back to Town, plus a few things I find of interest.

Two things that horses are scared about:

1. Things that move
2. Things that don't move

Winter Time in Rotary Park

It finally cleared up enough to go for a walk. The pond is frozen, but not strong enough for the ice skating rink yet.

The trees are all decorated, but not with snow. This is an accumulation of frost from the last 4 days of high humidity and cold temperatures. All it needs now are a  few lights.
 Another view across the pond.
The  Town did a good job of cleaning off the trail.
Two of the gals cleaning snow off the gazebo. They are still trying to get caught up from the November dump of 45 cm.
If you look closely at the sign, they should probably add " Caution: Hard Water"!
Not too many kids playing on the jungle gym, but then again school is in.
In case this has depressed anybody, here is a link to what it looks like in summer. Something to look forward to!

  3. I love the snow and the frost made for pretty scenes. We've not had any snow here yet, but I feel like we probably are in for it this winter season.
