Before that decision, I did walk up on a cow and calf moose. They were not as cooperative as the deer yesterday, so the pictures are at a distance.
It just goes to show that it was, in effect, a good day after all.
The bush is a little thick, but if I had a moose tag for this area, the freezer would be full. Alas, no such luck, but I got to watch them for a while.
Peek a boo
The calf was a little butterball and very well fed by the looks of it.
Adios
glad you got to see them!
ReplyDeleteNeat that you have elk in your neck of the woods! Never have had the chance to see any in person.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos.I'm glad you didn't have a tag especially since she has a calf with her.Glad you got to see them though :)
ReplyDeleteGreat that you got to photograph them ! Love when I get photos of Moose , only time I really get to do that is Summers when we camp up in the parts of New Hampshire that are close to Canada. Always get great shots in Pitsburg and Errol New Hampshire.
