Life On and Off an Acreage

In-sights into moving from an Acreage back to Town, plus a few things I find of interest.

Two things that horses are scared about:

1. Things that move
2. Things that don't move

Five Minutes in a Tree

The choke cherry tree next door is very busy! The berries are ripe and attracting all sorts of birds. The Downy Woodpecker was cleaning up the trunk. I didn't see him eat any berries, but he might have.

The Robin was also getting into it, putting on weight for the migration.
He was quite acrobatic in trying to get at the goodies.
Got one. Toss it up and down the hatch!
The crow was more sedate in his feeding, but ate a lot of berries!
 Yep, pretty laid back!
Not bad for 5 minutes watching.

  4. Lucky you! Crows and sparrows are all I see around here..except for a mystery bird at the pond which I can't get close enough to take a shot of. Love the last two with the fall foliage..gorgeous.
