Life On and Off an Acreage

In-sights into moving from an Acreage back to Town, plus a few things I find of interest.

Two things that horses are scared about:

1. Things that move
2. Things that don't move

Waiting for Paint to Dry

Eventually, there comes a time when you have to sit back and wait for the paint to dry. Repainting the kitchen cupboards while Elaine is away is probably a good way to gain some Brownie points! Brooklyn has to be right in the middle of things!

The weather has improved enough that I grabbed the camera and wandered over to the Athabasca River to see what is happening. Mr crow kept a close eye on me.
The river is pretty much ice free and starting to rise.
The geese are back and staking out turf. Noisy little devils!
This is not a good place to make a nest since it will be under water in a few weeks. Probably just sun bathing!
This guy spotted her pretty quick. "Hey Babe,'Sup?"
Alas, some days the paint dries too fast! Back to it.

Your kitchen is looking good! I'm sure Elaine will be happy with that being done while she's away!

That's good at least while your were "waiting" for it to dry you took a walk to the river ~ cuz that sure beats
"watching" paint dry :)

Nice to see the geese, they are so beautiful.
Elaine is still away, it seems like forever! I hope you post some of her pics? :)
Nice paint job. Now you can visit PEI and do ours!
