The weather here has turned back to rain and cool, more like the typical fall days, with a high of 14C (57F) and a low around +2C (36F).
Either Brooklyn has realized that she can't catch ducks or the water is getting too cold. After all, she grew up as a city gal. Anyway, this is possibly the last swimming picture of the year.
I have been reading blogs, but not commenting very much and not posting as much as I would like, but there seems to be a shortage of time in the day.
Hope all will be well again soon.
ReplyDeletei'm sorry elaine is still not doing well. i know this is hard on both of you.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear she is back in the hospital. Irritating that the cure is sometimes worse than the ailment, no wonder there are 3 pages of disclaimers on every drug ad. Take care, season is really changing. Hope she is home soon.
ReplyDeleteoh Ian, another 2 weeks. Hopefully everything gets sorted out. Sending my thoughts and prayers to you both.
ReplyDeleteSending prayers your way. It is hard when a loved one is in the hospital.
ReplyDeleteI hope everything will get taken care of and that she can be home with you again soon! Brooklyn better hang it up for the year!
ReplyDeleteStill sending healing energy to the north and it has turned Fall here too. My kayaking days are seriously numbered!
ReplyDeleteOhhh dear Ian, I'm so so sorry to hear about Elaine tell her I'm sending out beautiful warm prayers for her and you.
ReplyDeleteKeep her under house arrest until she really is better and can come home to you. You both need that.
In the mean time, keep up the garden, figure out how to bake a nice cake, practice over and over again until it's perfect and you'll have a nice warm welcome for her when the days comes she's back where she belongs.
For now my friend. Wonderful hugs and thanks for still believing in me and adding comments on my blog.
Wonderful blessed hugs from my heart to yours.
Dagmar
Must be so different with just you at home, more work to do, more worries, and time spent away. I've been praying for Elaine and also you. I was really hoping she'd be able to come home, but I am glad they are taking care of her and not just sending her on her way before she is ready. Lots of hugs from us in Ontario. Thinking of you guys!
