After three days work with rake, shovel and wheelbarrow, I do feel rather proud of this pile. By this time next year the pre-compost will turn into compost, rich, black and loamy smelling, ready to grow lots of things!
It was a sort of lazy day after the pile was finished, the raspberry bushes thinned and the horses groomed. They went to sleep as did I , for about 2 hours. I missed the new version of the Avengers, but what I saw, was well worth sleeping through.
Brooklyn also decided to take a nap in the shade. It was that sort of day!
This kind of tired makes for the best sleep! :O)
