Life On and Off an Acreage

In-sights into moving from an Acreage back to Town, plus a few things I find of interest.

Two things that horses are scared about:

1. Things that move
2. Things that don't move

Another Visitor

This early morning visitor was waiting when I went to feed the horses. I could tell he was there as the horses were all on high alert. One of these days he will show up when the light is better. I walked up as close as I could.

If you are wondering about the funny trees, the horses like the bark. Apparently there is a form of aspirin present.

Tucker was on high alert, even turning her back on food.

  2. I think I'd be on high alert too if that was walking around in our woods.

  3. You have some of the most interesting wildlife in your woods. Makes PA look rather boring!

  4. Pretty neat to see that moose!

  5. Nice! I'd be a bit nervous walking through the woods with moose present, especially in rutting season, or babe season!
