Life On and Off an Acreage

In-sights into moving from an Acreage back to Town, plus a few things I find of interest.

Two things that horses are scared about:

1. Things that move
2. Things that don't move

If Only I Was This Good!

I found this on YouTube and think it is probably the most amazing demonstration of training and trust in horses that I have ever seen!

No saddle, no reins and complete control!

I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

  3. I have to add, Ian, can you imagine the time, the work, the patience this man has to train these horses?!! Bet he starts them at a very young age. Love how they run with him. So pretty.

  5. Wow! That was beautiful and inspiring. I enjoyed every minute. I hope more and more, horses are "gentled" rather than "broken". Thanks for sharing this.

  6. WoW!! how wonderful Ian. Man and horse so close that they are almost one. We have a Spanish place in Oz where the horses are taught like this, and they seem happy doing it.. It doesn't seem a chore. Its called El Caballo Blanco. The white horse.. they are so clever.. Just loved seeing this. Its happiness in motion. And I loved him kissing the horse also.
