Life On and Off an Acreage

In-sights into moving from an Acreage back to Town, plus a few things I find of interest.

Two things that horses are scared about:

1. Things that move
2. Things that don't move

Surprise Visit

I was out cleaning out the raspberry patch when Elaine got a call asking if I was the person who was running a blog. I gave an invitation to Luckybunny at Our Forest Haven  to stop by if they were going to pass through town. They were in town at the Lion's campground! My very first meet with a fellow blogger! After a brief tour of the town, we retired to the wildwestfarm for coffee and a chat. That chat lasted until 11:00 pm. Donna was going through internet withdrawal because of poor to no connections, but tracked me down via the tried and proven way, the local phone book.

I was asked to pass on the message that currently she can't blog or answer email due to the internet access (rather, the lack of it).

All in all, the trip is going well except that the truck is down for repairs (second day) with possibly one more before they are back on the road again to Alaska.

All in all, a delightful visit. Douglas, the pug and Norman, the chihuahua, are both doing well. Fortunately, I was able to help them out a little in getting around.
