The poplar leaves are starting to come out. My noisy wood pecker is back. He can be very annoying when he sounds off on a fence post about 06:00 am.
The fields are starting to show more green, and the horses are spending more time looking for something big enough to bite off.
Best of all, the rhubarb is leafing out!

Spring is finally starting to happen. Pretty soon I will be able to sit back and watch the grass grow!

ReplyDeleteWell...I think you'll have competition for watching the grass grow from the horses :-)) We've had our first taste of summer last week - hot and sticky, 80F. Ugh. Hope spring lasts a little longer!

ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful shots of wildlife and the horses. Everything is looking great, compared to all the SNOW you had for so long! I guess we still green nearly year round in my part of Texas. I lived in Germany for 3 years; it's the only time I can relate to living with hardened, frozen earth. I admire you being able to survive in those conditions!
