Life On and Off an Acreage

In-sights into moving from an Acreage back to Town, plus a few things I find of interest.

Two things that horses are scared about:

1. Things that move
2. Things that don't move

Warm Horses = Happy Horses

The temperature jumped to +2C and it was sunny out! What a change from 2 days ago! Biz was enjoying the heat by sleeping most of the day, getting some rays.

Tucker did much the same. Life is simple when you have a human supplying food at decent intervals.

Alpine was looking for a mirror. The bangs are getting ridiculous.

However they are a natural fly shield in the summer. Not many bugs around here now, though.

All in all, a relaxing day!

  3. They are beautiful horses..I just feel like hugging them. Perhaps Alpine can have a frontal horses tail (tied up).. Glad they got some warmth.

  4. Maybe I oughta grow out my bangs to keep flies away in the summer! :) Glad it's warmed up for you!

  5. I sure miss our horses. However my oldest daughter was given a horse by a childhood friend she has stayed in contact with. Her horse is about 800 miles away so we shall see how this will work out.
