The weather has continued warm and sunny and the snow is disappearing! Now we are transitioning from snow to mud. However, by harrowing the driveway i am trying to minimize the mud stage. I won't show you the horse field at the moment because it is really ugly.
The front flower bed has a way to go before anything green is showing. The quad and harrow have been doing a great job. The snow blower has been retired due to very wet, or very hard snow, depending on the time of day. It is really nice to be working outside in short sleeves and no coat. It will be a while before the sandals come out of storage. Down the hill from us, there are a few pussy willows starting to really bud out. It seems strange to see them flowering when their feet are still covered in 2 feet of snow. I guess some of the water in the swamp is starting to warm up.

ReplyDeleteHmmmm...snow or mud? Mud is messier, but it does hold the promise of warm weather!
