First Ever at the Feeder!


In about 10 years of feeding birds in Alberta, this is the first time that I have had Red Winged Black Birds show up.

 They were super hungry and just wolfed down the sunflower seeds.

 

 Both were females

You never know what is going to show up!

    We have red-winged blackbirds here very summer, and I love their song! Glad some have finally made it up there to visit you.
