A Day With the Magpies and Friend

These guys are hard to get up to. They are very wary of humans and anything else.





I saw this mule deer hiding. Actually Daphne spotted or smelled her first and pointed at the end of the leash. The bush is thinning out and it's getting easier to spot them

    Great shots of the magpies. I can barely make out the deer- I see the belly...I think.

    Love those magpies, wish we had them here!
    That deer is remarkably well camouflaged. Good dog!

    Neat shots of the magpies! I'm not sure I've actually ever seen one in person.
