ReplyDeletesounds like it was worth the trip. You sure picked a pretty place to go to. I don't have a lot of fondness for the Elk. When we lived in Wardner we had about a 100 of them hanging around 20 or 30 of that bunch used to come in for feeding time and keep the horses from their food....they made a huge mess of the hay stack ...we had to put panels around it to keep them out.Oh well they are still a pretty majestic looking animal.
